International movements, of course, depend upon satisfying the quarantine requirements of the respective countries and veterinarians freezing semen must be aware of its intended destination so that blood tests can be completed at the appropriate time.

International Semen Import

Communication is essential to ensure a trouble free semen import. You must liaise well with the country of origin to insure AQIS import requirements are understood and met prior to semen being drawn. Australia is free of many canine diseases and these strict requirements are in place to protect this unique situation. Blood tests must be drawn at the correct time and vial labeling must be in accordance with the required protocol.
